Looks from Spring 2008 Collection
3/4 sleeve cobalt tee with button-down numbers skirt in checked cotton.
Jersey "paper plane" gown with turquoise slip.
Violet and white t-shirt gown with divergent stripes and bow detail. This spring collection was a departure from my winter show, incorporating bold colors and playful patterns. This collection consisted of 17 looks and was also displayed in a fashion show at my school. One thing that I always keep in mind while creating clothing is the balance of playfulness and elegance. The idea that something can be unique and exciting while still remaining sophisticated is a major element to my design aesthetic.
